Full Day Kindergarten (5 Years Old and Older)
 

Our kindergarten program, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., encourages children to become more independent, focusing on decision-making and problem-solving skills that help develop confidence and a positive self-image.

The curriculum is a combination of independent and instructed sessions that emphasize reading skills, math, science and language while skillfully balancing phonics with whole-language activities. In this program, students will be using “real” language in ways that are meaningful to them.

Math and science instruction provides a host of hands-on experiences and fun activities that reinforce learning. Children are encouraged to explore the world around them, using thoughtful questioning, experimentation and observations.

Arts, music and playtime are also important parts of the daily schedule.
