Hi... I was very nervous about it... I made the decision to do it, and then commented on my facebook page about it... I got alot of feedback from both sides...Maybe it will help you make a decision... the last post is from a pediatric nurse....
Here are some of them..

- the way our pediatrician explained it... every year we inject our kids with random flu vaccines... the h1n1 is a specific strain we are targeting... so we know exactly what is going in their bodies...hearing it that way, makes me a little less uneasy.
- I am so against this Swine Flu Vaccine. Back in 1976 it caused more harm than good. It's a tough call. I'm scared for my kids as I won't have a say. Good luck.
- our doctor is the med prof....he would not steer us wrong...I am sure he would NOT put our children in harm's way.
- I am freaked out about it too, but will be vaccinating both boys when it is available at our pediatricians
- Everybody in my house will be getting it--two kids in school, mom working with little ones, and dad driving an ambulance on a regular basis--not taking any chances. The thimerisol is not an issue---science has proven beyond any doubt that it does not cause autism (my field...I've done the research)--and I'd rather not have my kid die from a deadly disease.
- I researched this one pretty heavily...the flu itself is riskier than the vaccine. NO ONE has died from the vaccine but hundreds of thousands die from the flu and flu related complications...
- My ped is not even offering it. I have to go thru dept of health if I want to vacc my son. Not sure what to do...the benefits supposedly outweigh the risks, especially for kids and preggers. My own DR isn't offering it either, says he wants more data first. The virus supposedly already mutated and might again, so will the vaccinne developed in March even be effective? Where's the bubble I can put my kid in for the next 6 months...
- The XXX family will be getting it when it is available. No doubts.

Thanks for this tip. I had heard something about a restaurant being down that way, but I guess I never drove far enough down the road. This sounds just like what I need on a Saturday morning!
